The Bethany Co-ed Hostel was started in the year 1959 by the founder of Bethany High School, Mrs. Mignon David. It was built around the concept of a 'home away from home'. We pride ourselves on being one of the top boarding schools in Bangalore. Our hostel is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to ensure the comfort and well-being of all our boarders:

  • Comfortable Dormitories: Separate dormitories are provided for boys and girls. Each of the two are large, airy, comfortable and cozy. Special care is taken for their comfort, health and safety. From mosquito nets over each of the beds to an adjacent warden's room, the hostel ensures comprehensive care for all children. Three residential matrons and three dorm masters take care of the girls and boys, and a hostel manager is present from Monday to Saturday.
  • Kitchen and Dining Hall: Our spotless, modern kitchen is staffed by professional cooks who prepare a variety of healthy vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, ensuring that students receive a balanced nutrition. The dining hall is a spacious area capable of seating up to 100 children.
  • Study and Recreation Facilities: A large study hall has been provided for use during the day and a smaller room adjoining each of the dormitories is available for students wanting to study and complete assignments till 10.00 pm.
  • Games and Activities: Indoor and outdoor games, including a playground, promote physical health. We organise a variety of activities on school days as well as holidays. From chess to table tennis, from football to cricket, children can choose these games in their leisure hours.
  • Support Staff: Our dedicated team of matrons and support staff provide 24/7 care, with a nurse on-premise to monitor the health and well-being of all residents.
