Sports & Athletics at Bethany High, Koramangala
At Bethany High – Koramangala, the timetable ends, but the learning continues on our courts, tracks and fields. Guided by Mr Peter Soundrajan and a team of 10 qualified Physical Education professionals, sport is woven into the fabric of daily life. From Pre-Primary up to Grade 7 every student enjoys two PE periods a week; Grades 8-10 have one dedicated session, with optional early-morning and after-school coaching for those who want to train harder or represent the school.

- Flood-lit basketball court (run in partnership with Hoops Genesis for FIBA-aligned coaching)
- 200-metre athletics track, long-jump pit and shot-put circle
- Indoor zone for table-tennis, throwball and karate
Programmes & Opportunities
Students rotate through Football, Basketball, Athletics, Cricket, Karate, Throwball and Table-Tennis, mastering fundamentals before specialising. Coaches use skill tests and friendly scrimmages to spot natural talent; promising players receive individual plans and holiday camps to sharpen their technique. Every term ends with Skill-Check Week so children can measure personal progress, not just trophies.

- The Annual Road Run – a community 5 K that unites pupils, alumni and parents.
- Athletic Sports Meet – heats culminate in a day of house-pride relays and field events.
