Nurturing Excellence in the High School Department
Formative Years: High School days mark a period of transformation, where students shape their identities and lay the foundation for their future. We understand the importance of these years and provide a supportive and engaging environment for our high school students. We host special assemblies and class assemblies that highlight the core values students need to imbibe. Apart from these assemblies, we also have Value Education classes through which the values become an integral part of their character, guiding them throughout life.
Academic Excellence: Academic excellence is our top priority. Our dedicated teachers take a keen interest in reaching out to each student to ensure that concepts are not just learned but deeply understood. Uncovering the syllabus as well as revision is a fundamental part of our teaching-learning process. Our faculty is always ready to help and support those students who may have missed classes, ensuring that no one is left behind.
We are proud of our students who have excelled in the ICSE Board Examinations.
Encouraging Curiosity: Curiosity is a driving force in the teaching-learning process. We appreciate and encourage our students’ natural curiosity, fostering an environment where they can explore and experiment. Students are encouraged to submit working models as part of their projects, promoting hands-on learning.
Catering to Individual Strengths: We recognize that each student is unique and hence provide an array of Group-3 subjects for the students to choose from: Art, Drama, Western Music, Physical Education and Computer Application.
In Group –2 Students have the option to choose Commercial Studies instead of Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology); Economics instead of Mathematics, allowing them to follow their interests and strengths.
Holistic Development: Education goes beyond the classroom learning. Extracurricular and Co-curricular activities are an integral part of our program, promoting all-round development. Our students have a wide range of opportunities which includes athletics, basketball, football, Karate, throw ball, table tennis, cricket (with in-house coaching), elocution, debate, PowerPoint presentations, dance, music, quiz, collage making, air crash, painting and so on. These activities help students in exploring their passions, building friendships, and developing vital life skills. The various inter-school and inter-house competitions organized by the school help the students to showcase their inherent talents. It builds Team Spirit and instills confidence to participate in many more such events.
In the High School Department, we’re not just preparing students for exams; we’re nurturing well-rounded individuals who are equipped to face the challenges of the world with confidence and competence.
