Storytelling Club
“Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world”
– Prof. Robert McKee
Recognising the importance and need for storytelling in today’s gadget driven world, Bethany High has introduced Storytelling as one of the club activities for children studying in Grades 2, 3, 4 and 5.
Storytelling helps in improving comprehension, listening skills and vocabulary. It is instrumental in developing empathy and a sense of wonder in children.
The Club facilitator is Ms. Jyothi Rao Kunjoor. She is a professional storyteller who has conducted more than 1000 storytelling sessions across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. She loves interacting with children and bringing them tales from around the world.

Music World Club STD VI & VII
The objective of the music world club is to introduce children to the world of music, widening the scope of exposure to the myriad styles of music so that it is appreciated as an art form versus only being a source of entertainment. The Club was introduced 3 years ago, and there have been instances of children tearing up just by listening to the beauty of classical music! This club also acts as a medium to raise awareness of the Western Music course offered at the ICSE Board exam level.
The 6 Sessions use mostly only audio tracks, some video and also live performances by older students to pique the interest in the children. The course covers everything from origins of using musical instruments to modern music methods. From Jazz to rock music and much more. This club is a popular club amongst children who love music!
