7,8,9,10....We get to spend these magical years in a child s life with them.Our days are filled with glimpses into their woner,mischief,learning and growing.Its a superhuman task for my teachers but they give it their all daily and start again the next morning! Our reward is the smiling faces of the children who return to our corridors .
In the Primary we want the students to love learning,develop regular study habits,understand basics,feel safe,be happy and participate in numerous activities to discover their talents and intelligences.
All kids love to paint and draw. The art and craft classes help them to hone their skills. The art competition recognizes the most talented young artists.
Elim Resort here we come! Rain dance, yummy buffet, fun games....all classes enjoyed the day.
TUCK SHOP (FUNDRAISER)
Our dept had a tuck shop as our carnival fundraiser. Teachers sold snacks, sweets and juices to the school kids. We were sold out in no time!
Story telling, show ‘n tell, spell bee, debate and general knowledge quiz....inter class competitions turned out to be a very exciting day for all!
Each class exhibits their talents through the monthly assemblies. Students learn values and new worship songs too.
Students are awarded gift vouchers for academics and multiple intelligences. We also put up a mini musical with around 100 talented kids!
Vishweshwaraya Museum was a great hands on learning experience for the kids about science and machines.
After an extensive heats where each student takes part in 7 events...the sports day honours all the budding athletes. colourful drills and march past added a festive fervour.

Nutrition was taught in Standard 3 by having a salad day where all enjoyed healthy salads and fruit salads. Some students also brought in beautiful vegetable carvings. Now students can love their veggies. a 70 yr old grandpa walked in and spoke to them about how fit he was due to diet and exercise. a doctor too spoke to the kids about food habits.
