Synchronize is a fest hosted by Bishop Cottons Boys High School located on St Marks Road, Bangalore. A fest which was first launched in 2006 and has now made its mark in the field of science and has proven to be one of the leading fests in the city and the country as a whole.
Bethany Junior College took part in the 11th edition of ‘Synchronize-Driven by Science,Powered by IT’. Students from Class 12th Science were announced winners in the following events.
Sumayra Sultanji and Neha Rao were placed first in Genesis (botany and zoology).
Siva Surya Babu,Shreya Pradeep and Tanika Deuskar were placed second in Blogger (blogging,vlog making, creative writing, photography and meme making).
Dhanesh Prabhu and Nikunj Drolia bagged the second place in E-Tron(electric circuits and RC car making)
Pratiksha and Preeti from 11th Science also won the third place in Clash of the Titans (IT debate).

Rukaiya Abuwala, 17, topped the Science Olympiad Foundation‘s (SoF) seventh International English Olympiad by beating students from 42,800 schools across 1,400 cities in 25 countries. “I love reading. Many times, I have been caught reading secretly in class,” she told TOI.
Thanking her teachers and parents for their support, Rukaiya said she hadn’t expected to bag the first rank. “At first, I was shocked when I heard that I had topped,” said the teenager who writes regularly for her school magazine.

Conquering the English Olympiad
Our XII & XI (SCIENCE) students won Third Place in IBM Bluemix Teen Hackathon held on 10th December 2016. Name of the students are as follows: Karan Panjabi(XII), Anirudh Bhatija(XII) , Dhanesh Prabhu(XI) , Soumyadeep Banerjee (XI). They developed an app Mini Beta which could translate languages and summarises text. It also convert audio to text and recognises images.
